Always Agree

Have you ever met someone that just disagrees with everything you say?

My dad is one of those people.

You tell him the sky is blue, and he starts finding any reason to say that on SOME occasions it’s actually a NAVY blue.

Why am I telling you this?

Because this is the worst way to sell anything to anyone.

Our customers (and every customer on the planet) wants us to agree with them.

We need to make it clear in our marketing that we understand them. If we don’t understand them, then they’ll look somewhere else.

If we DO understand them… then great! They trust your business and want to buy from you.

So how do you actually do this?

Start every single video, advertisement and post by resonating with your customer. Use this simple framework:

  • “If you want XYZ and ABC, this video is for you!”

  • xyz and abc = the end result that they want.

Simple, but it works. Every single time.

You’re on a call with a client and they say something you disagree with?

You still agree. Even if it’s something completely ridiculous.

Why?

Because a man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still.

So, if someone tells you the sky is a dark green, you use this framework: “I used to think the same thing. Then I found out about this scientist called XYZ and it turns out that the sky is actually blue because of ABC.”

This will let you convince anyone of anything. Try it out in your business and let me know how it goes.
