research is lame
do more, research less
Hi,
Saw Neil DeGrasse Tyson say "Science is true whether or not you believe in it.":
Neil has been an insufferable twat for decades now. No idea why we ever made him famous.
The older I get the less blind faith I have in "science" and "research".
10 years ago my dad asked me to come to the movies with him.
This was extremely uncommon behavior for him, so I asked which movie he wanted to see.
He said: "An inconvenient truth" by Al Gore.
If you're not as ancient as I am you've probably never heard of the movie or Al Gore.
Al is most famous for losing a presidential race and his movie was all about climate change.
One of the most famous bits of the movie was him predicting that the polar ice caps were melting so fast there would be no more ice there within a few years.
It's 10 years later. There's still plenty of ice.
This kind of stuff happens again and again and again and again.
Doesn't matter to my dad though, he still has complete and utter faith in science and research.
The problem with research is that you can gather endless data and eventually make it prove basically anything.
There are plenty of data and science people telling us that men can get pregnant
I've been doing marketing for small and medium businesses for decades now. If you hired a team of researchers to take a close look at my processes I'm 100% convinced they would come to the conclusion that a lot of it is not backed by science and research.
I'm sure if they researched your business they would say the same.
But who cares what they think? If it works, it works.
We need to make lived experience great again. Either your experience or the actually lived experience of the people around you.
Can't be putting your faith in faceless anonymous researchers stuck in an underground lab somewhere. People churning out numbers and drawing conclusions by using unproven models and by testing things out on lab rats.
Do more. Research less.
Talk soon,
Jonahand that men that identify as women have almost no biological advantage.
And guess what? The data proves it.
If you squint really hard and ignore most of the inconvenient data you can prove literally anything.
